Sundays

Sometimes, Sunday is the day where I should stay at home, stay in bed all morning and walk around the apartment in my little white hot pants and vest. The day where I should lounge on the sofa and get myself lost in the Hollyoaks omnibus.

Today I decided to refresh myself in another way; by hitting the gym for a good work-out and the chance to relax in the Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room afterwards. With every work out, has to be good music. Although I listen to a big range of different music, I love to work out to something heavy, so what better bands to listen to than Killswitch Engaged and Parkway Drive.

The downside of every gym is that there is what my friends and I call the “muscle beach”. It’s where all the men with ego’s watch themselves flex their muscles in the mirror, then looking back to see how many of the girls are watching. This type of man does nothing for me, but I must admit, I often find myself eyeing up this one particular guy in the boxing section. He’s around 6 foot 2 inches tall, well built, with such strong arms, but I know I’m not the only girl who has been watching.

As I walked in to the gym, wearing my “hot hot” black and pink Lululemon shorts and a black sport racer tank, I bumped in to him, he smiled (what a lovely smile he has) and held the door open, walking in behind me. I could only hope he’d been checking my ass out as I walked over to the treadmill.

I could see him in the reflection as I gradually went from walking, jogging to running. He’d keep looking my way between using the different weight machines, and as he did we’d catch each others eye slightly before shyly looking away. After I’d finished on the treadmill I headed over to the water cooler and filled up my bottle. He casually walked over, I looked at him and he looked right at me with the cheekiest smile I’ll laid my eyes on. “You’re stalking me aren’t you?” He laughed. I laughed, corrected him, after all, he was the one who followed me to the water cooler.

We introduced ourselves, smiled and went our separate ways…for now.
